Brian’s addition to the G-NETik line of goalie gear continues to tailor and enhance itself toward the hybrid style. The Brian's G-NETik V Senior Goalie Leg Pads focus on giving you a better seal along the ice, more maneuverability, and better response time through its employment of Opti-Slide tech, Torsion Flex tech, and a brand new Bri-Core Carbon Composite pad core.

External Material
Brian’s uses a bindingless primo material along the outside of the pads, specifically on the inner edges to make up their Opti-Slide technology. Opti-Slide ensures smoother sliding along the ice. Brian’s innate durability and versatility that they ingrain into their goalie gear affirm high quality in their craftsmanship and materials.

Internal Construction
On the inside, the G-NETik V leg pads feature Torsion Flex technology and a newly implemented Bri-Core. Torsion Flex is part of the internal core and is built to respond to every potential situation on the ice, which is exactly what a hybrid goalie will want from their equipment. It is designed to twist with you, keeping your movements quick and natural.

Bri-Core is brand new for the G-NETik line, which is a tri-axle carbon composite modelled to improve stiffness and rigidity in the pad. To make a good hybrid pad, Brian’s knew they needed to balance flexibility and rigidity, which is what they accomplished with their Bri-Core and Torsion Flex techs.

Pad Break
Hybrid pads need to be flexible enough for good maneuverability and rebound control, but they should also be stiff enough for better net coverage, whether standing or in butterfly. The G-NETik V pads opt for a single internal and external break below the knee to give some flexibility while also keeping it stiff for when the time arises to enter into butterfly.

Boot Angle & Toe Taper
The G-NETik V has an 84° toe taper to optimize coverage while not impeding on the skates’ ability to bite the ice. 84° is the optimal middle ground between a perfect 90° seal on the ice and 80° skate control and acceleration on the ice.

Knee Cradle
Similar to the G-NETik 4 model, these pads also use an SBA molded interior, which is great for increasing airflow in the knee and thigh areas. In addition, the knee is also cradled by HD foam for more comfort while sliding. Brian's Pro 2 knee pads are included.

Strapping
The G-NETik V uses Smart Straps along the calf and for the toe tie. They are fully adjustable and both tough and elastic for good tension and flexibility. The pads also have a built-in tab for installing an upper calf strap if you so desire. The Smart Straps on the toe tie are also velcro and have a tough bungee style for a better response from the pads.

Colors, Sizes & Customization
The G-NETik V leg pads are available in multiple stock colours, and stock sizes range from 32 1 to 35 1. Brian’s offers a customization option with the G-NETik V pads, which allows you to decide your own colours, angles, sizes, etc. in the pads. This demo set comes in Black / Red.
